One Millionth Christkindlmarkt Visitor to Win Lifetime Pass Friday

Christkindlmarkt expects to welcome its 1 millionth visitor Friday and that person will win a season pass for life.

During its first 19 years, Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem has welcomed more than 950,000 guests to the Christmas City.

This Friday, Dec. 14, one lucky visitor to the holiday marketplace will receive a very special gift - Christkindlmarkt season passes for life  - for being the one millionth person to attend the event. It’s anticipated that the person will pass through the doors shortly after Christkindlmarkt opens at 11 a.m.

Where: PNC Plaza at Steelstacks, 645 E. First St., Bethlehem

When: Starting 11 a.m. Friday

How much: $8 for a daily pass, $18 for a season pass

In addition to a family four pack of Christkindlmarkt passes for life, the guest will also receive a $100 ArtsQuest Gift Card and four passes to see the Bethlehem: The Christmas City film at the ArtsQuest Center, plus some other special holiday goodies. 

Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem, which is celebrating its 20th year this year, continues Thursdays-Sundays through Dec. 23. Festival hours are Thurs., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.  Tickets are $8 for a daily pass and $18 for a season pass. Go to Philly, Across from Dillworth Plaza in Love Park. SAME vendors, SAME offerings.....difference? Christmas Village is FREE. Yup, you aren't asked to PAY to go in and BUY and SPEND......beautiful creations, beautiful ornaments, food, a lovely tree..........but wait, you have actually RUB ELBOWS with the hoypolloy in Philly....
