When and how did your business get started?
My husband and I purchased this CruiseOne travel agency business two months ago. We then underwent intensive training and we are now back, have just finished setting up and are now open. But there is much to do to get the word out!
Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
We liked the location, it's close to home (we reside in Emmaus), but we serve the entire Lehigh Valley, and can serve nationwide clients.
What is your business best known for?
Due to our parent company (World Travel Holdings) having strong partnerships with all cruise lines, we are best known for our sea and river cruises, but we have partnerships with many resorts, attractions, air travel, lodgings ... etc. (Disney, Sandals Resorts, attractions...etc)
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
Our customers might not know that most vacations can be booked with a down payment, and payments made up until departure date. They might also not know that we have made a pledge to give a portion of all proceeds to local charities/causes and let the client select who the donation goes to. Also, we offer a lowest price guarantee to beat or match any pricing out there!
Does your business offer a special deals card or program?
Yes! Aside from the offers from our many partners exclusive to CruiseOne, to help kick things off, we are offering an end of year incentive: an additional 5 percent off any land package, or $50 on board credit on any cruise booked through end of year (2013).
