Cottage in Emmaus to Close its Doors For Good

Cottage owner Emma Ville announces on Facebook over the weekend that the business will shut down on March 23.

Cottage owner Emma Ville made a “bittersweet” announcement about the future of the popular Emmaus gift shop on Facebook on Saturday. When Cottage's lease is up later this month, the business, located at 379 Main St., will be shutting down for good.

Here’s what Ville posted on Facebook this weekend:

“Hi Cottage friends. It's a bittersweet day here at Cottage. We have decided that it's time to move on to new pastures as our lease comes to an end. It's been a wonderful few years, making friends, watching the world go by from the porch on summer days and spending time with all the other lovely businesses in Emmaus.

Thank you so much to everyone that visited. Our last day will be March 23rd.”
