Children's Book Store Coming To Emmaus Triangle

Let's Play Books should be open for business in time for holiday shoppers, according to the store's Facebook page.

Handmade signs in the window of the former Cottage store on the Emmaus Triangle say that a children's bookstore called Let's Play Books is coming soon to the empty storefront at 376 Main St.

Let's Play Books, according to the signs, is a children's bookstore "stirring imagination, encouraging creativity and building character, one book at a time."

The signs also invite would-be customers to "be a part of the story" through the store's Facebook page www.facebook.com/letsplaybooks.

According to that Facebook page, Let's Play Books plans to have a "soft" opening no later than Thursday, Dec. 5. However, the Facebook page says that the store's owners have set an earlier goal opening date of Saturday, Nov. 30, which is also Small Business Saturday.

Cottage, a popular Emmaus gift shop, closed its doors on March 23 of this year. Cottage owner Emma Ville announced her decision to shut down the business and try her hand at other things on the Cottage Facebook page in early March, prompting countless statements of support and good wishes from the store's loyal customers.
