'Jersey Shore' Star to Host New Year's Eve at Sands

Tickets go on sale Friday for New Year's Eve party at Sands starring DJ Paul D.

Reality TV star Pauly D will headline the New Year’s Eve extravaganza at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, the center announced on Monday.

One of the stars of the hit reality show "Jersey Shore," DJ Pauly D now has his own reality show about being a guest celebrity DJ.

The night of electronic music at the Sands will also feature appearances by Shwayze and Hyper Crush and get started at 8 p.m.

Tickets include 2 drinks per person, and access to Vision Bar, where DJ Cova and DJ Freezie will be spinning pulse-pounding beats all night long.

A fan favorite, the Providence, R.I. born Pauly D DelVecchio was the first of the "Jersey Shore" cast members to receive his own spinoff, "The Pauly D Project," chronicling his life as a celebrity DJ, which premiered on MTV in 2012.

Pauly has been named on Forbes Magazine's  "World's Highest Paid DJs" list for two consecutive years.

In summer 2011, Pauly joined Britney Spears on select dates of her Femme Fatale Tour. Pauly has also had the honor of DJing some of the biggest events in the world such as: "Miss USA," "Teen Choice Awards," iHeartRadio Music Festival, Bamboozle, and Jingle Ball LA. He helped kick off House DJ Week on "Live! With Kelly," and DJ'ed on "Good Morning America," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and "America's Best Dance Crew."
