The Vera Cruz Halloween Parade will be held on October 12 at 7 pm. The route is Main Rd. East, Main Rd. West, and Vera Cruz Roads. The parade stages at Mystic Chain Park, on Main Rd. East, at 6 pm. Spencer Parness, 911 World Trade Center Disaster Survivor, will be the "Honorary Citizen". Highlights of the parade include the Geryville Hobo Band. The Vera Cruz Community Association will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, baked goods and drinks at the intersection of Main Road and Vera Cruz Road.
The Vera Cruz Community Association is currently accepting registrations. Cash prizes are awarded for individual marchers and groups. Pre-registration is encouraged for groups.
