Songs of the Summer - FREE CONCERT! Wear Tie Dye!

FREE CONCERT AT EMMAUS COMMUNITY PARK

Star of the Day Event Productions sing Songs of Summer  

Emmaus, PA—Star of the Day Event Productions will perform a FREE concert SONGS OF SUMMER on Friday, August 10, 2012, 7-9:30 PM at the Emmaus Community Park Arts Pavilion.

The concert is presented by the Emmaus Special Entertainment Commission and sponsored by Hosfeld Insurance and InsuranceChix.com of Macungie. 

Donna Hosfeld AIC, CPIW, owner of Hosfeld Insurance has been involved in several other community events in the last year, including the Perfectly Pink Purse Party benefiting breast cancer survivors as well as “Chix Makeover” benefiting the Scar Management Program of the Burn Unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network and raising a combined total of over $8,000.

The evening will include a two-hour concert, vendors, food, and giveaways.  

The following is the lineup for the August 10th "SONGS OF SUMMER" performance. Singers will rock out with a three piece band to tunes from days gone by and just yesterday – from the Beach Boys to Adele.  

Andrea Cartagena of Easton is no stranger to the stage.  She has performed in several tours of the hit musical HAIR  and performed on many stage across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Andrea will be featured in the upcoming production of A…My Name is Alice a benefit performance for Turning Point of Lehigh Valley.  

Nina Elias of Bethlehem is new to the Lehigh Valley music and theater scene. She has made herself at home in recent productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie and Not On This Stage both at Pennsylvania Playhouse. She is a featured performer with the Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret and will perform in their October production of A…My Name is Alice.  

Nathan Chipman of Allentown sings in the Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret series! Nathan is a familiar face in the Lehigh Valley theater scene; having done a total of nine productions throughout the years. Some of his favorite credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel, Over Here!, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Grey Gardens.   

Peter Sikalias of Allentown is no stranger to the stage. He has been involved in theater all over the valley including Pennsylvania Playhouse and Civic Theatre of Allentown.  

Mim Paquin of New York City is a regular performer with Star of the Day Event Productions. She is a featured performer with the Star of the Day Spotlight Cabaret and will be featured in October in A…My Name is Alice.  

Make it 3 – an all female trio made of Janis Greim of Allentown, Christine Hjorth of Nazareth, and Star of the Day owner, Kirsten Rani Almeida of Lower Saucon. 

These dynamic performers joined forces in early 2012 as an extension of Star of the Day’s performance line-up.  They have more than forty combined years of experience singing Broadway, Rock, Pop, Gospel, R&B, and Opera. 

Their performance is an energetic set of tunes that will have you clapping, dancing, singing, and swaying.    

Nate Diehl of Bethlehem will accompany the performers along with drummer, Amy Esch and bass, Erik Hjorth. Nate is a music instructor at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem. He is an accomplished pianist and accompanist having acted as music director for Star of the Day's Spotlight Cabaret since last fall.

Star of the Day Event Productions is a full service entertainment company that  entertains, educates, and encourages the community through music, theater, and dance.
