FREE Concert - THE VOLUNTEERS of the US Army Field Band

The Emmaus Main Street Partners announces a free concert in Emmaus Community Park by THE VOLUNTEERS of the US Army Field Band – Washington, DC.

The Volunteers is a six-piece band performing rock, pop, country and other current styles. 

Formed in 1981, The Volunteers is one of four performing components of the US Army Field Band, the Army’s official touring musical organization.

The US Army Field Band is considered one of the most versatile and inspiring musical organizations in the world.  Members, selected by highly-competitive audition, represent some of the finest musical talent in America.

For more than 60 years, the US Army Field Band has performed in all fifty states and in more than thirty countries on four continents.

The Volunteers take great pride in telling the story of our magnificent Army and provide a fast-paced, high-energy show that captivates audiences young and old.

The Volunteers has been the recipient of the Army Community Relations Award of Excellence by the Chief of Public Affairs, the highest award given by the Department of the Army for support to Army Community Relations.
