Ecumenical Worship Service of Praise and Thanksgiving

Celebrating the unity and history of the Lutheran, Mennonite, and United Church of Christ in the Zionsville area, the Union School and Church Association invites the wider community to an ecumenical worship service of praise and thanksgiving.  This "trinity' of churches has been gathered this way for sixty-six (66) years on the last Sunday of June at the Dilligersville Schoolouse in Zionsville.

Starting at 10:30am, this worship service is an unique blend of the traditional and contemporary.  Honoring the past and present, the music, preaching, and setting offer anyone who attends a slice of both Americana and the Christian faith.

Preaching will be the Rev. Martin A. Milne, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.  The Lutheran church is the host church this year.

Following the service, we invite the community to be part of our picnic "brown paper bag" lunch.  For the purchase of $5.00 (proceeds to go to the Union School and Church Association), each person will receive a sack lunch; hearty enough to fill the biggest of appetites.

There will also be a bake sale offered; the proceeds going to the Union School and Church Association.
