I would pay off my house, my car, fix things up around the house & take a nice trip with the family. Anything left over will be put into some type of savings.

If you also work outside your home, Mariel, would you quit your job?

I would continue working because that money wouldnt last long. i would pay off my big debts and purchase a home. The rest would go towards my college fund and for my future kids. And a wedding

Defintely quit my job so someone who needs a job can apply for it. Pay off the mortgage, make some good investments, rest, relax and catch up on all the reading material piling up.

I definitely don't think it is enough money to warrant quitting my job! I would pay off the house/car and any other debt we have. I would go on a shopping spree for new clothes for the family and some other frivolous purchases (lasic eye surgery, maybe some jewelry) I would then invest the rest until retirement and a college fund for my girls!

I'm 32. For my wife and I to quit working, we would need to invest about $3 million. That would allow us to live off the interest. $300,000 falls a bit short. It would enable my wife to stop working, pay off our mortgage, and rest of debts. I would also donate some to my church and the National MS Society (my wife has MS).

I would buy a nice house with lots of land, pay my debt and put the rest in my kids college fund. (Hillsdale College) oh yeah and buy a long range rifle. Never know when you'll have to cap a zombie at 400 yards..
