The Friends of the Emmaus Public Library held a gently used book sale on Saturday, May 7.

Enjoying a book is a favorite pastime for many people. The ability to allow others to share that literature is the basis of any gently used book sale. The held its annual book sale at Lower Macungie Middle School, on Saturday, May 7. Sponsored by the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library, the book fair will help to fund the children and teen expansion of the library.

Boxes upon boxes full of books were placed on the tables and benches in the school cafeteria, with selections ranging from children's to travel  to history. Shoppers quietly moved through the rows, browsing the offering. Refreshments were provided, and reusable bags for book checkout were supplied by local orthodontist, .
