Upper Milford Church to Hold Community Picnic

Annual St. Peter's Union Church event will feature live music and car show.

Looking for something to do this Saturday?  , 7863 Saint Peters Rd, will hold its annual community picnic 12-9 p.m. July 16 at the church pavilion. 

An afternoon car show (noon-4 p.m.) features plenty of antique and classic cars of all makes and models, as well as trucks and street rods for all to enjoy. While mom and dad check out the vehicles, the children can play some games, get their faces painted (see if mom and dad recognize them) or play in the duck pond.

Other features of the day include a used book sale, rescue dog demonstrations, cake walk, raffles and guest appearances by local legislators.

"Mike Hertzog and the Blue Mountain Gang" will entertain the crowd with their music from 6-9 p.m.

And what is a picnic without food? Come and enjoy the BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, French fries, home made soup, ice cream, baked goods and more.

There is no charge for the event; however, a monetary donation or non-perishable food item for the is requested for parking.
