Triangle Park Ready for SnowBlast

Public Works crew removes snow and ice for tonight's celebration.

The Emmaus Arts Commission, thanks to Public Works Director Jeff Clapper and crew, are ready for the fifth annual SnowBlast, which starts tonight and has events Saturday as well.

"Clappper and staff have been under pressure to keep Emmaus roads clear and safe with all the winter storms this year," said Teri Sorg-McManamon, of EAC, "but they took great care and time early (Feb. 3) to ready the Emmaus Triangle ... A heart-felt thank you to Jeff and crew!"

Opening ceremonies begin at 5 p.m., followed by ice sculpting demonstrations and “icetini’s” at an ice bar courtesy of of EAC.

Ice Princess Laura Wetzel will demonstrate her award winning skating moves at a  mini-rink also starting at 5 p.m. Also performing on the Triangle tonight are juggler Joe Scholz at 6:15 p.m. and Wesley Works Entertainment music from 5 until 9 p.m.
