Tough to Tell if Emmaus is Still Occupied

Occupy Emmaus Facebook page offers schedule of activities for Oct. 24, but Triangle Park seems empty today.

was a movement that launched with some fan-fare about 10 days ago, and generated robust commentary from the Emmaus Patch community. But, more often than not since was initially occupied on Oct. 14, .

Occupy Emmaus supporters still maintain a Facebook event page, which was updated at about 11 p.m. on Sunday. That posting contains a detailed schedule of events for Monday, Oct. 24, running from 9 a.m. through 9 p.m.

It is followed by the comment in all capital letters “NEW PROTEST STARTS 10/24.”

The schedule, as posted on Facebook, is as follows:

9AM- ARRIVAL.
9:00-9:30- PICKETING.
9:30-10:00- 1ST GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
10:00-10:30- BREAKFAST
10:30-1:00-PICKETING
1:00-2:30-2ND GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
2:30-3:00-LUNCH
3:00-3:30-PICKETING
3:30-4:30-EDUCATIONAL MEETING.
4:30-5:00-PICKETING
5:00-5:30-DINNER
5:30-6:00-PICKETING
6:00-7:00-3RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
7:00-9:00-PICKETING.

However, Emmaus Patch made several trips past Triangle Park today and there didn't appear to be a single person in or near the Triangle.
