Tickets on Sale Today for Friends of 1803 House Pig Roast

Group's first-ever Halloween juried craft sale and fall festival will offer fun for the whole family.

With the Fourth of July all but behind us, the Friends of the 1803 House want us to start thinking about Halloween.

That's because they're planning their first-ever Halloween juried craft sale and fall festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of  grounds at 55 S. Keystone Avenue in Emmaus. 

They're also having a pig roast as part of the event, and tickets for the roast go on sale today, July 1. A $10 dollar ticket will buy you a pulled pork slider, baked beans, two side dishes and a cold beverage. Desserts will be catered by .

Kids of all ages are invited to come in costume to enjoy fall décor and activities, including an apple-pie baking contest, and a pumpkin decorating contest, and to browse through unique fall and Halloween creations. 

Storytellers will also be on hand to tell tales of Halloween legends.
