The People in Our Neighborhood: Craig Neely, Borough Manager

Craig Neely loves serving the citizens of the the town in which he was raised.

How long have you been in your current job? Neely has served as Emmaus Borough Manager for more than two years.

What do you like best about your job? Neely most enjoys the interactions he has with the people in the community. That direct, personal contact is his favorite aspect of the job.

What do you like least about your job? Neely says he really dislikes union negotiations.

What's one thing that no one knows about you that you wish people knew about you? Neely's says that he's "been a public person in town long enough for people to know just about everything about me!"

What are your ties to Emmaus and why do you feel so committed to doing what you do here?  Neely grew up in Emmaus and raised a family here for many more years after that. He values working in his community.

What do you do to relax when you're not working?  Neely says he enjoys working on home improvements during his downtime.

What's your favorite color and why? Purple is his favorite color, because his favorite music group is "Deep Purple."

What's the best advice you ever received?   Neely's says the best advice he ever received came from his grandfather who told him, “I never learned anything when I was talking.”
