How long have you been there?
"This is my 12th year at Lincoln as an Administrative Assistant. I was a classroom aide at Lincoln for three years prior to accepting the Administrative Assistant position."

What are your main responsibilities?

"After working in the dietary department in a nursing home, I was a stay-at-home mom."

How is your job in education different from a teacher?

"My favorite time is right before the children come back to school. Preparing for that time is busy and filled with anticipation. The staff is just as anxious for the first day as the children are."

What are the greatest challenges you face in your position?
"My greatest challenge is getting everything ready for the first day of school when I have to rely on outside sources to get materials to me in a timely manner. Many times I am receiving things the day before the first day of school that have to be inventoried and distributed."
