Learn the Story Behind the Painted Rain Barrels

Family Fun Night at the Emmaus Public Library continues on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Family Fun Night at the Emmaus Public Library is back on Thursday at 7 p.m. with a talk centered on the Emmaus Arts Commission and the Emmaus Memory Garden.

Given by Borough Councilman Dr. Mike Waddell, the program will explain what the painted rain barrels seen around Emmaus are for and how residents can bid for a rain barrel of their very own at Emmaus Community day on July 20.

If there is time, Waddell will explain how participants can find the Emmaus Memory Garden and exactly what they will find in the garden when they visit.

The free program is open to all ages and does not require advance registration.
