High Near 60 and Heavy Rain Wednesday in Emmaus Patch

Emmaus Patch can expect an unusually warm day for January with a high near 60 and heavy rain on Wednesday.

Mother Nature is full of surprises and one of them will be a winter high temperature near 60 degrees on January 30.

Afternoon and evening rain Wednesday could be heavy, producing one to two inches and possible thunderstorms in a six-hour period, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service.

Flash flood watches are in effect from this afternoon through Thursday morning.

The WFMZ forecast also calls for a warm day and some heavy rain.

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
