Get a Scoop at Rita's and Raise Money for Autism Speaks

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, Lincoln and Jefferson elementary school staffers will dish it out at the Emmaus Rita's to raise autism awareness.

If you head out to in Emmaus this afternoon you can enjoy a tasty treat, help raise autism awareness among elementary school students in Emmaus, and, keep your fingers crossed, maybe even soak in a tiny bit of sun.

From 4 p.m to 8 p.m. today,  and elementary school staff members will be serving customers at Rita's. In exchange, Rita's will donate 10 percent of the sales during the four-hour "scoop-off" to Autism Speaks.

Flyers on the fundraiser sent home with Lincoln students are encouraging the kids to come out and "give orders to their teachers."
