Five Things to Know About Emmaus Community Day

Emmaus Community Day will happen in Emmaus Community Park on Sat., July 21 from noon to 6 p.m.

The second annual will take place in from noon to 6 p.m. on Sat., July 21.

  1. The Old Timers baseball game is back. If you enjoyed it last year, you won’t want to miss the guys battling it out on the ball field again this year. Start time is 6 p.m.
  2. The ladies are taking a turn on the diamond too. New this year is the Diamonds are a Girls’ Best Friend softball game for seasoned female ball players.
  3. The final silent auction bids on the Emmaus Art Commissions’ rain barrels will be taken during Emmaus Community Day. Winning bids will be announced during the Old Timers game.
  4. The Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be on site at Emmaus Community Park for anyone able to donate blood. There is a shortage of blood right now and every pint donated can help to save a life.
  5. Emmaus Patch will have a table in Community Park. Stop by and say “Hi!” There will be a free Patch tote bag for everyone who signs up for a free Patch newsletter. While supplies last of course!
