1. Emmaus Library Gala Fundraiser
Where/When: Brookside Country Club, Saturday, Frb. 12, 7 p.m.
Why Go: Hors d’oevres, complimentary wine (and a cash bar) with David Roper on piano and silent auction. But most importantly, it contributes to the building of a new children's wing for the library.

2. Wine and Beer Making Seminar
Where/When: Wine and Beermakers Outlet, 202 S 3rd St., Coopersburg, Sunday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: Because you’ve always wanted to try making your own homemade brew. Beer and Wine Master Mike Thom will teach you the some of the basics for a price that can’t be beat.

3.Christopher & Banks in-store Fashion Show
Where/When: Christopher & Banks at The South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown; Saturday, February 12, 1 p.m.
Why Go: Get rid of your winter blahs and check out some interesting, colorful new fashions for spring. Models size 4 to 16 are still needed.

4. Love is in the Air with Wine and Chocolates
Where/When: Clover Hill Vineyards in Breinigsville on Saturday, Feb. 12, and Sunday, Feb. 13, from noon to 5 p.m.
Why Go:  Bring that special person in your life to Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery to find the perfect Valentine's Day treat. Gourmet chocolate manufacturer, Moussey Moose Chocolates, will partner with Clover Hill to offer you a special treat for your palette.

5. Dinner and a movie
Where/When: Tilghman Square Shopping Center Red Robin has a Dinner and a Movie Deal that’s good any day of the week – and perfect for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy dinner at Red Robin and then a movie at the AMC Tilghman 8.
Why Go: Everyone needs a night out, and with Valentine’s Day approaching this is a great deal to take advantage of.
