Lehigh County to Hold Electronic Collection Events in 3 Convenient Locations on September 22, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Lehigh County is proud to offer 3 FREE “anything with a plug” recycling events to be held at 3 locations on September 22, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The convenient locations are


Lehigh Carbon Community College at 4525 Education Park Dr. in Schnecksville, Olympus Corporate Headquarters at 3500 Corporate Parkway in Center Valley and Lowe's Home Improvement at 1235 Martin Court in Bethlehem, PA. All types of electronics will be accepted for FREE including computers, monitors, printers, air-conditioners, computer accessories and household appliances. Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also welcome to bring their obsolete electronic equipment.

All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries. eForce is Pennsylvania’s only multi-certified electronic recycling company (R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14011) and assures all data media will be destroyed or wiped at their facility.
