Emmaus Scholars Continue to Make our Patch Proud

Two more Emmaus residents join the ranks of fall 2011 semester Dean’s List honorees.

Two Emmaus residents were recently named to the fall 2011 semester Dean’s List at their respective universities:

Bradley Walz, who is studying at Widener University in Chester, and Maria Gagliardi, a student at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, were recently honored for their academic achievement.

At Widener, the Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester. Dean’s List selection at the University of the Sciences is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall semester of 2011.

I am concerned. Emmaus is a part of your constituency and to the best of my knowledge you have notRead More had a Town Hall Meeting or any public meeting in this area. Why? Safety is as important in Lehigh County as in other counties and programs such as this should be made available to everyone.
