Looking for a piece of Emmaus history?
Among the many antiques and treasures on eBay are several items from the Emmaus Foundry. They include calendar trivets such as:
- 2 "School Days" Trivets
- 1976 Bicentennial with Liberty Bell
- 1990 Trivet with a windmill
- 1975 Trivet with Pa. Dutch Man and the saying "For what you look me at?"
The trivets are priced at $14.99 each and come from a seller in Macungie.
The Emmaus Foundry was located on Fourth Street and closed in 1985 after 40 years in business, according to a Morning Call report.
