Emmaus Community Day Sizzles With Fun
Locals flocked to Emmaus Community Park for food and fun despite steamy weather conditions.
For the first time in many years, "Emmaus Community Day" was revived on Sat., July 23 as hundreds of attendees enjoyed music by live performers, participated in sporting events, dunked a few borough councilmen and ate tasty foods.
Later in the day, a group of veteran Emmaus baseball players joined together to recall the good old days on the field during an "Old Timers" baseball game.
Emmaus Ambulance Corps members were on site to keep everyone cool and safe as they offered free Powerade, cold towels and free misting fans.

An ambulance was also ready in case of any emergencies.
Later in the evening, DJ Dutch, (a.k.a. Emmaus Borough Councilman Brent Labenberg), rocked the Arts Pavilion with the latest dance tunes to close the event.
