Local PGA Professional Honored by PGA of America With National Award

Richard “Rick” Kline, PGA head professional at Sittler Golf Center in Kutztown, Pa., has been named the recipient of the 2013 PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award for Public Facilities.

Kline, 51, was elected to PGA of America membership in 1989. Since the award was established in 1976 to recognize PGA Professionals who excelled as businesspersons and merchandisers in the promotion of golf, he is the fourth Philadelphia PGA Section Professional to be named a recipient of the PGA Merchandiser of the Year. Kline also joins 2013 PGA Teacher of the Year Lou Guzzi as members of the Philadelphia PGA Section receiving 2013 national awards from The PGA.
