Chair Yoga at LivingRoom Yoga

We are delighted to announce that CHAIR YOGA will now be offered at the LivingRoom, on Fridaysbeginning October 18th from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm. Do you or someone you know have a temporary or lasting limitation in the body that keeps them from practicing yoga? Or, are you or someone you love in a later season of life and the Gentle class is a bit too much? If so, please accept a warm invitation from us to attend!
Many benefits are still possible in the body when getting up and down from the mat are a challenge. Deep breathing, a range of movement for the spine and limbs, the chance to internally balance, and added relaxation are just a few of the opportunities of this practice. One can enjoy a full practice from the chair!
Experienced yoga teacher, Beth Wernham, brings expertise in this area of instruction and a compassionate heart to each class. Beth has practiced yoga for almost 20 years and a yoga instructor for over 5 years. She received her 200 hour certificate in Hatha Yoga at Open Heart Yoga in Orefield, PA, and is currently working on her 500 hours through Kripalu Yoga Institute in MA. In  2009, she became a LifeForce Yoga Instructor, combining her skills as a licensed clinical social worker and yoga to work with her clients. After leaving the world of corporate medicine and counseling in 2010, she has found joy in teaching yoga classes at both West End Yoga and the Fitness Plaza. She is excited to be teaching Chair Yoga at LivingRoom Yoga.
