School of Rock Announces Metal Mike as Guest Professor for Metal Camp

If you consider yourself a metal maniac, then School of Rock’s Metal Camp: Mayhem In The Mountains will be your ultimate mind-frying summer camp experience. Musicians with  passion for metal, ages 12 to 18, will come together for the seven day, six night summer shred-fest to learn how to take their skills to a whole new level. With lessons from the infamous Metal Mike, most commonly known for recording and touring with Judas Priest, students will learn secret tricks and tips that are exclusive to only the most devoted metal heads. To end the week with a bang, Metal Mike will join students for a live on-stage performance, playing some of the world’s greatest fist-pumping, head-banging metal anthems!

Metal Camp: Mayhem In The Mountains will be held August 18 – August 24, 2013 on the grounds of Camp Lakota in the Catskill Mountains on Masten Lake, an amazing 200 acre site that features such activities as a zip line, skate park, motorized go carts, swimming, waterskiing, a climbing wall, nighttime bonfires on the beach, and a ton more.  The price to attend is $1,299 with a 50 percent initial deposit and balance due July 1st.  Campers that refer three friends can attend Metal Camp for free.
