The Lehigh Saengerbund, the 154 year old German-American Society of the Lehigh Valley, is proud to present our Oktoberfest event consistent with the Society’s German-oriented cultural traditions.

The Sommerfest celebration continues with the new Bavarian Oktoberfest in September!  Experience a Bavarian Oktoberfest-like celebration with German band music and singing.  Find wonderful German beer, Jägermeister, specialty liquors with comfort foods such as German wursts (sausages), sauerkraut, potato salad, hand-twisted pretzels and more. More About Emmaus Community Park

Emmaus Community Park

Emmaus Community Park

1401 Shimerville Rd, Emmaus, PA
610-967-1311

Formerly known as Pine Tree Park, a small amusement park, it has been Emmaus Community Park since 1957. Whether you come for music, a ball game or just to let your kids play in its playground, you can enjoy many hours in the park. Eventually you will barely notice trains rumbling by on busy tracks flanking one side of the park and the Pennsylvania Turnpike carrying noisy traffic on another. The park's amenities include the borough's swimming pools, baseball fields and the open-air Performing Arts Pavilion, where many folks enjoy band concerts in summer. The park has many picnic pavilions, which should be reserved in advance. It also has a paved walking trail that passes over Leibert Creek, which has been allowed to revert to a largely natural state to prevent soil erosion. The park is along Shimerville Road just off Pennsylvania Avenue.
