Henry Beitler was born on a farm in Lower Milford in 1917. When that farm was sold in 1937, he moved with his family to Old Zionsville, which he affectionately calls, "the village." As a young man, he worked in a Studebaker garage as a mechanic. Later, just months before he was drafted into WWII, he got a job at Mack Trucks. And except for a few years away to fight in the war, Beiter has called Old Zionsville home. After the war he became assistant postmaster when the post office was in a hardware store. Connie Moyer of Emmaus is known as Chicken Lady around town, but professionaly she was Henrietta the Dancng Chicken. She discovered she had a talent for imitating chicken clucks while working on her sister's farm. She later entered a national competition and won four years in a row in the 1990s. Those victories launched her career as an entertainer for which she donned a chicken outfit and clucked and danced for special events. Her unusual talent also got her interviews on radio shows as far away as Hawaii and Australia. Now she works at the Emmaus Moravian Church where she clucks with the …
