Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Where can you get the Best Coffee in Emmaus Patch?

Have a favorite coffee place in town? Or one you’re not as pleased with? Share your thoughts on Emmaus Patch and leave a review in our business directory.

For some it’s the breakfast of champions. For others it’s a comforting, warm beverage to be shared with friends.

Whether you hit the drive-thru window on the way to work or meet for a weekly gossip session in a corner café, if you’re a true coffee drinker, you surely have your favorite place to grab a cup of java, as well as some strong thoughts on those places who make a brew that gives road tar a run for its money.

Because Emmaus Patch has an extensive directory of businesses – including a number of places where you can buy a cup of coffee -- we want all of our readers to ring on their favorite coffee establishment by leaving reviews in our directory.

Next week, we’ll ask for your input on another product or service, but for right now, let’s focus on the beverage that keeps many of our engines running -- coffee. (If you drink decaf, you can vote too, but, us real coffee drinkers aren’t sure why you would.)

Visit Emmaus Patch Places to learn about local coffee shops and write reviews. Which local coffee shop serves up the best cup of joe? Where can you get the best latte? Whose espresso helps you reboot your harddrive?

Let us know by clicking through to the profile pages of these businesses and leaving your comments:

Tell us, Emmaus Patch coffee lovers, who makes the coffee in the area?

And, if your favorite coffee place is missing from our directory, let us know that too. Tell us in the comments, or email jennifer.marangos@patch.com.

I am a regular at DD. Their coffee isn't the best, but for me it is the most convenient. There has been a lot of staff turnover recently but the staff regulars are always friendly and provide good service.

This is a hard one for me...I love Dunkin coffee and I am also a big fan of Bill's latte's at the Creamery...decisions, decisions.

Well since Perk on Main is no more, I would have to go with the Creamery, Baked, and SMC....drink LOCAL! Remember not only is coffee a preference, it is an art, so talk to your local independent coffee shop owner about your likes and dislikes. Chances are they would consider bringing in a single origin or even a blend that suits your fancy. Peace, love and coffee!

Andrew--It pains me to tell you that Perk is closed. The Creamery on Main opened up in the Perk location and makes a pretty mean latte in my book, though. You should give one a try!

My wife says I'm a coffee snob. I don't think so. Okay...I don't like the typical office coffee pot of stale burnt coffee. Does that make me a snob? I don't like Starbucks. Right there a number of people will say that obviously he has no taste. Sorry...Starbucks is too bitter. My favorite "chain" coffee is Dunkin Donuts. Smooth. Hot. Wakes me up. Having said that, my absolute favorite (typically available) coffee is Seattle's Best. Once Borders went out of business I was sure I won't be able to get it any more. I needn't have worried! I can now get Seattle's Best right here in Emmaus. Where you might ask? Subway! Yes...Subway offers Seattle's Best coffee! Who knew. Oh...I can also get it on Sunday mornings at Faith Church on Hamilton. Church and coffee...not a bad way to start Sunday. Breakfast sandwich and Seattle's Best...not a bad way to start any day!
