No, a vote for the Libertarian ticket is a vote thrown away. Consider that the most prominent 3rd party candidate in history, Ross Perot, never even got one (1) electoral collage vote. He was in the debate, spent the same amount of money as the Dems and Repubs, yet not one single electoral college vote and not one state under his belt Everyone that voted for him basically threw their vote away.

Sharpie..I know what you mean, and I love some of the Libertarian ideals. But some of the main ones...Foreign Policy is a non starter. Ross Perot thought the same way back in 1988 and all we got was a stained rug and drapes in the oval office. Voting for Gray=Obama relected.

The simple fact is that 75% of this country has already decided on either Romney or Obama... Many of them will vote straight party. Gray has absolutely no chance of winning the election or even winning one single state. All your vote for Gray will do is allow Obama to be one vote higher, because quite frankly, Gray and Romney's stances aren't all that different, while he and Obama are miles apart. Hence, a vote for Gray is a vote for Obama.

Well, Reaganite, I suggest you build up some faith in your convictions. Defeated while you're barely trying is a sure bet nothing will change, and things probably will get worse. Don't be so certain there aren't many who wish more for our country than what we're getting. Voting differently this election is the ONLY way to not throw away your vote. You should be using your smarts to help others see the way since our exclusive Presidential debates won't help them see the light to a new earth, and a better country and world. If you can't convince conservatives, try convincing progressives; try convincing anybody. Don't just throw away everything you believe in. Don't give up. All things are possible ... w love.
