Upper Milford Women Say Driver Tried to Run Them Over
An arrest warrant is issued for man who drove at the pair at high speed, police say.
State police are looking for a 34-year-old man they say endangered two women Sunday in Upper Milford Township when he drove at them and nearly hit both with his vehicle.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Thomas Laird Morris of Upper Milford for the 5:57 p.m. incident, according to state police at Fogelsville.
Police gave few details in their report, including the relationship of those involved and what provoked the alleged incident, but Morris drove at high speed, they said. They were told that Morris nearly hit Maureen Stauffer, 56, and Jeanette Shoemaker, 28, both of Upper Milford, at 4109 Ford Drive.
Police classified the incident as simple assault.

It is nice to know the PA State Police are trying to keep the public informed about these events. I have recently looked on the Emmaus Website and the police blotter is updated to March 2012. Is it possible for the residents to have more current information? I mentioned it in another post, but I know for a fact that a bunch of cars were broken into on Spruce Street and our front porch was robbed before a yard sale. Why isn't this information made public by the Police?
