Upper Milford Burglar Takes Shine to Toyota

Not content just to steal parts from repair shop, someone drives off in a car as well, police say.

A burglar found an Upper Milford auto repair shop to be a full-service facility recently in meeting all of his needs.

An unknown person broke into Bachman Auto Repair and Service at 5421 Chestnut St. between 3 p.m. July 30 and 10 a.m. July 31, according to state police at Fogelsville. They helped themselves to several unspecified items inside.

Upon leaving, they also seemed to take a liking to a red 1993 Toyota Corolla with a Pennsylvania license plate of HTL6295, police said. The vehicle belonged to Stacey McEllroy of Emmaus.

Police ask that anyone with information call them at 610-395-1438.
