That "little guy" is the furthest thing from Hitler. Chief Faust fiercely and passionately defends the rights and freedoms that we all hold dearest. Including the right of free speech to allow people like you to make disparaging remarks.

WestEnd...so using your logic, your lack of grammar skills (Hitler is a proper name, requiring capitalization) and poor spelling (the contraction "didn't" requires an apostrophe and has no "E" in it) makes you look REALLY STUPID. You may not be…but you sure look it…

Thank you so much for the kind remarks Jim! I must admit it is difficult for me to get offended after 26 years in the business. Quite frankly, I do consider myself and my personality quite the opposite of Hitler! More importantly, the Emmaus Police Department strives each day to be a community-based, service-oriented agency. We are only as good as our community, however, my own bias admitted; I believe Emmaus is a wonderful place to live, work and visit. I would agree that photo is not the best representation of me. In the meantime, I'll have to remember to smile more often during those formal events. In addition, I'll remember not to stand next to a former defensive end next time! The reality is that we are quite pleased to be getting new officer replacements for the vacancies we experienced in the department. We are certain that these new officers will be welcome additions to the police department and will serve Emmaus with "pride and respect."

You're welcome David! I too am proud to live in Emmaus. I get very defensive when people speak poorly of the community and of the people who try their hardest to do good in the community (such as yourself).

I am proud also, to say "I knew him when" when speaking of you. You do a great job for Emmaus and I am glad that you were able to hire two new officers to help protect and serve the Borough of Emmaus and surrounding communities.

Echo Jim's comments - we are very lucky to have the quality we have in Chief Faust as well as Mike Nonnemacher and Jim Reiss. Our emergency responders are second to none.

Well thanks AIB... It appears that we seem to agree more than we disagree of late (first Joe's Pizza and now this)...grin...

Peace...and thanks again...
