Drivers are cited in both incidents, police say.
Three people were injured in two recent motor vehicle accidents on Upper Milford Township roadways.
In the most recent, Bruce E. Beltz, 23, of the Coopersburg area was hurt on July 10 when his Honda Fit struck the porch of a home along Churchview Road about 6:25 p.m., state police at Fogelsville said. Beltz was traveling eastbound when he failed to round a turn, crossed the roadway, traveled along the embankment and struck a shed. His car continued to spin and struck the porch of a home at 4710 Churchview Road.
Beltz received moderate injuries and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Macungie Ambulance, police said. He was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
In the other accident, this one on June 25, two Bethlehem residents were moderately hurt when their Honda Accord struck a utility pole and a tree, police said.
Police said Justino J. Fuentes-Diaz, 20, was traveling in front of 4587 Vera Cruz Road N. about 7:45 p.m. when his car left the roadway. The vehicle hit the utility pole and shrubbery before coming to rest against a tree.
