"I’m really excited. I can’t wait to share this show with people because I think it’s a really fun show and it’s really different from things we’ve done in the past couple years. [As a senior] I’m excited to take on a new chapter in my life, but at the same time it’s sad to see this one come to a close. I’m really going to miss the family that I’ve gained from being in these shows. It’s definitely something that I’m going to enjoy looking back on and that I’m going to miss a lot, but I’m excited to see what the future has as well. " Chrissy Cilento

“As the show comes to a close, I'm excited because I can't wait to finally show the audience what 3 long and hard months of rehearsals has produced. It’s also a bittersweet feeling knowing that we've had so much fun rehearsing for this show, and we have spent so many hours together, but it's time to finally say goodbye to the EHS drama department. It will definitely be hard to leave this experience behind, but at the same time, it has opened new doors for the future, and for that, I'm so thankful.”

"I’m kind of freaking out. I can’t believe that it’s so soon. The fact that we only have 3 rehearsals left is a steady reminder of how hard we have to work and how much work we’ve already put in. It’s really coming together and this time every year I feel so proud of all my friends and all of our work and I’m so excited to show everyone the amazing show we’ve put together."
"I’m feeling excited because I have a feeling this will be hilarious and just a tiny bit sad... And that my fat suit won’t cooperate with me.”
"I’m actually not happy at all. I’m not going to say it’s mixed emotions at all because this is the last show I’m going to do. And, yeah, even though I’m happy to graduate, I’m not happy for the show to end. "

The Emmaus High School spring musical Guys and Dolls opens tonight at 7 p.m.

EHS junior Chrissy Cilento has been giving Patch readers a behind-the-scenes look at the road to opening night for nearly one month.

Last week, as part of that effort, she asked some of the cast and crew to reflect on their feelings as the show approaches its inevitable final curtain call.

This is what they had to say.

Chrissy Cilento, a junior at Emmaus High School, plans to study journalism in college. She is a periodic contributor to Patch.
