Tailgate, Snow Blower Removed From Vehicle on 2nd Street
The following incidents have been reported by Emmaus police. They do not indicate conviction.
Someone might have spoken to Punxsutawney Phil prior to his Feb. 2 prediction of six more weeks of winter, since Emmaus Police report that a snow blower valued at $500 was removed from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of S. 2nd Street on Jan. 24.
A tailgate valued at $1500 was removed from the same vehicle, police say.

Reported Jan. 20: 15-year-old male found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at McDonalds, 1101 Chestnut St. Enrolled in the Impact Project in lieu of criminal charges.
Reported Jan. 21: Four tires slashed on vehicles in the 500 block of Chestnut Street. $400 in damage.
Arrested Jan. 29: Rasool Rakeem Hyman, 31, of 439 N 4th St., Allentown, for DUI in the 600 block of State Ave. Processed at the Lehigh County DUI Center and released.
Reported Jan. 26: Four individuals took $50 worth of goods and ran from the Turkey Hill Store at 602 Chestnut St.
Reported Jan. 27: Spray-paint graffiti reported at the Lions Playground, 600 block of Ridge Street. $200 damage.
Reported Feb. 2: I-Phone stolen from a student’s backpack at the Emmaus High School. $200 value
Reported Feb. 2: Spray-paint graffiti reported at the Emmaus High School courtyard. $200 damage.
Arrested Feb. 2: Shawn Fischer, 43, of 579 Chestnut St., Emmaus, for DUI in the 200 block of State Ave. Processed at the Lehigh County DUI Center and released.
