Not really sure how 60% to 40% can be considered "hotly contested", but OK. Whatever.

The biggest downfall for Pat is his association with his union cronies. That is the part that upsets me the most, but Pat is local, Pat is involved and I see Pat at every local youth event , school event, township and community event. He is present, can't say that much for the republican they dropped on us

agreed Missy, the Union bond is what flipped me, really ashame would have loved to vote for Slattery because of all the things you stated. Hope Mackenzie can live up to my expectations.

This is exactly why people need to get it through their heads, we need to elect people from our community, NOT politicians! Whenever somebody runs who is not a publicized politician, people laugh and vote for the choices the Party provides you, this trend only helps those who wish to control what goes on around you...and it works! You vote for their choices time and time again. We have got to begin to stand together and support someone from within our own ranks if we want someone who will represent us, not represent what the party thinks is good for us.
