The Upper Milford Youth Association announced yesterday that online registration for 2012 summer kickball is now open.

Youngsters who live in the East Penn School District and will be ages five through 11 at the time of registration are eligible to play.

The UMYA summer kickball program is held in Lenape Park and for 2012 it is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 to 8 p.m. from July 9 to August 15.

For 2012, the cost to play kickball has been dropped to $25 per child, in recognition of the fact that in today’s economy cash is tighter for many families, according to the Upper Milford Youth Association.

And, as with all UMYA sports, every child who signs up for kickball will get a chance to play.

For more information or to register, visit www.umya.org.

Editor’s Note: Harry Marangos, coordinator of the summer kickball program for the Upper Milford Youth Association, is married to the Emmaus Patch editor.
