Ryan Mackenzie Leading Romney Campaign in Lehigh County
State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie and businesswoman Lisa Scheller are leading the Romney campaign in Lehigh County
State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, himself running for re-election this term, is co-leader of the Mitt Romney campaign in Lehigh County, according to a PoliticsPa report.
Mackenzie was just elected to state office last May to fill the unexpired 134th House District term of state Rep. Doug Reichley, who resigned to become a Lehigh County judge. Mackenzie is now running for his first full term in the state House and is opposed by financial advisor John Reynard of Emmaus.
Businesswoman Lisa Scheller, who ran for Lehigh County commissioner last year, is co-leader with Mackenzie of the Romney campaign in the county.
U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent, running against Democrat Rick Daugherty, is a state co-chairman of the Romney campaign.
Gov. Tom Corbett and U.S. Pat Toomey are leading the effort to win Pennsylvania for Romney.
There are no ads airing in PA on either side and Obama is consistently polling ahead by over 7 points - but Romney and the PA GOP say that the state is up for grabs, PoliticsPa said Friday.
