Reichley to Host Holiday Open House
Rep. Douglas G. Reichley, of Alburtis, will hold a holiday open house in his Emmaus office next week.
State Rep. Douglas G. Reichley, whose 134th District includes Emmaus and Macungie boroughs and Upper Milford and Lower Macungie townships, will hold a holiday open house on Wednesday, Dec. 21 from noon to 3 p.m., in Emmaus, according to a report in the Reading Eagle.
The event, which will give Reichley’s constituents a chance to talk to him about state government issues, will be held Reichley's office in the East Penn Plaza, 1245 Chestnut St.
In November, Reichley, of Alburtis, won a 10-year seat in the Lehigh County courthouse. He will cut short his fourth term as state representative of the 134th Legislative District when he takes the bench in January.

Who's footing the bill for this event? What's the need for an outgoing legislator to meet with constituents when he won't be returning to fulfill his elected term in office?

Since he is leaving the Harrisburg scene, what is he going to do about the State government issues that are discussed?

Another "Professional" legislator on his way up. Can't even finish the term he promised his constituents. He is on a power ride and obviously the people who voted for him don't matter at all.

Dear Lawyers:
Please help me pay off my campaign debts. This will not create a conflict of interest even though you may argue a case before me one day. Very similar to how Corbett is in no way effected by the tons of money given to him by corporate interests.
Dear public:
Please note my vote in support of redistricting in a way that leaves the Lehigh Valley politically divided. Also, notice my vote for the Turzai ammendments in support of vouchers that would have created a huge government bureacracy and entitlement program which is totally inconsistent with Republican values.
Sincerely:
Doug

Truth seeker, I trust your indignation is directed at both parties as both parties have engaged in this behavior?
