An Upper Milford Township man was charged Sept. 25 with pushing a 62-year-old woman against a parked car hard enough that her head dented the vehicle, according to police.
Timothy E. Lafaver, 19, pushed the woman from behind at 3:35 p.m. at a home in the 4100 block of Salem Drive, according to state police at Fogelsville. The woman struck the car hard enough with her head to leave a visible dent. She also had a cut finger.
Police did not say whether any of the injuries required medical treatment.
They also did not say what sparked the incident. Nor did they say whether the man and woman were related, although domestic violence being added to the charge suggests they were.
Lafaver was charged with simple assault - domestic violence, police said. He also was charged with harassment.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Ronald Manescu of Allentown and sent to Lehigh County Prison under $5,000 cash bail, according to court records. Bail was posted Sept. 26 by Randall Lafaver of 4135 Salem Drive.
