Police: Vehicle Damages Lawn at U. Milford Church Camp

Driver 'turfs' grass at Victory Valley Camp in criminal mischief act, troopers report.

It's unknown what purpose a driver had in mind recently when entering the grounds of an Upper Milford Township church camp, but he left having committed an ungodly act.

According to state police at Fogelsville, a vehicle damaged the grounds at Salem Bible Church's Victory Valley Camp between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30.

A vehicle entered the camp at 7472 Sigmund Road and drove in circles, ripping up the grass, police said. The lawn would have been especially soft because of rain from Hurricane Sandy.

Police noted a delay in the caretaker noticing and reporting the incident because of the bad weather conditions. No damage estimate was provided.

Anyone with information about the criminal mischief activity is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.

Just one small correction, Victory Valley Camp is owned & run by the Bible Fellowship Churches, not Salem Bible Church.
