Police: Thief Snatches EZ Pass Device in Upper Milford

Parking pass at airport is also taken in theft from vehicle, troopers say.

Look for the person cruising through the EZ Pass lanes and tooling into Kennedy Airport in New York to find the likely suspect in a recent theft from a motor vehicle in Upper Milford Township.

Someone entered the unlocked Volkswagen Jetta of John Thomas Ingram at 5653 Baumgartner Road between 2 and 6 a.m. Nov. 20 and stole items, according to state police at Fogelsville. The items were an EZ Pass transponder and a red Kennedy Aiport parking placard.

The total value was $25, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.

Ahh, yeah, the EZ Pass system takes a picture of your license plate every time you use it. Mmm-kay. Why don't you just go ahead and look at the picture, write down the plate number, match it up with a registered home address, then pop on over and get your transponder back. Okay? Great. Thaaanks.
