Police Release Emmaus Incidents

The following information was supplied by Emmaus police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following recent incidents were released by the Emmaus Police Department:

Burglary: Reported Aug. 29 at Subway, 1328 Chestnut St.; cash drawer with undisclosed amount of money removed from store, police said.

Burglary: Reported Aug. 29 at Top Star Exxon, 14 E. Main St.; cash drawer and cigarettes removed from store, according to police; being investigated as related to above incident.

Auto theft: Reported Aug. 29 in the 100 block of S. Sixth Street; 1993 Honda Accord station wagon taken, police said; no value given.

Auto theft: Reported Aug. 29 in the 100 block of Main Street; 1999 Acura Integra taken, police said; no value given, but vehicle recovered in Allentown on Sept. 1.

Still no mention of a man who supposedly was shot in the leg. Just tell us what happened so we know if it is something we need to be concerned about. I would think it's not but it would be nice to know. Where did it happen? Was it an accident? Was it a drive-by shooting? No one seems to know anything. I'm not asking for the person's name but at least let us know something about it.

I agree with you Chris, we should know what this is all about, no info on morning call or the Patch someone is making this stay quiet....
