Police: Man Threatens to 'Smash Her Face In'
Upper Milford domestic dispute brings charges.
A recent early morning argument led an Upper Milford Township man to tell a woman he would "smash her face in," according to police.
Those words brought a police response and jail, according to police and Lehigh County Court records.
Corey David Beitler, 42, of 4621 Mill Road argued with a 38-year-old woman at his residence at 1:38 a.m. July 15, according to state police at Fogelsville. The argument escalated into the woman being threatened that she would be hit in the face.
Beitler was charged with terroristic threats and harassment. A preliminary arraignment was held before Magisterial District Judge Karen Devine of Allentown. Beitler was unable post the $5,000 bail that was set and was committed to Lehigh County Prison, according to court records.
