Police: Horse Mats, Alfalfa Taken from Upper Milford Barn

Man's unlocked truck is entered, but nothing is taken in separate incident, troopers say.

Maybe it will just take a little bit of horse sense to solve a recent crime in Upper Milford Township, but a tip from anyone who saw anything unusual wouldn't hurt either.

A Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, woman reported to state police at Fogelsville that a theft took place at a horse farm in the 5000 block of Bachman Road in Upper Milford. The theft happened between 6 p.m. Sept. 22 and 7 a.m. Sept. 23, Barbara Marie Mayne reported.

Police said 25 rubber horse stall mats were taken along with 15 bales of alfalfa, a type of hay. No value was provided.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.

State police also reported the following incident:

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Sept. 28 by Lukasz Slodkowski of the 6000 block of Sweetwood Drive; glovebox of unlocked truck entered but nothing taken, police said.
