Police: Driver of Red Nissan Sought in Hit-Run

Car struck guardrail, but driver took off without reporting the crash, troopers say.

State police at Fogelsville are looking for a driver who recently struck a guardrail in Upper Milford Township and left without reporting the accident, but did leave behind a calling card of sorts.

The vehicle was southbound on Kings Highway South near Fountain Road at 3 p.m. Dec. 10, police said. The driver failed to round a curve, crossed into the northbound lane and struck the guardrail.

The motorist drove away without reporting the accident, police said. However, police say front-end damage was done.

They found a piece of the grille and determined the car was a red, older-model Nissan sedan, police said. They added that they did not know whether there were any injuries.

Anyone who has information about the crash is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.
